Synopsis: The Barden Bellas are a collegiate, all-girls a cappella singing group thriving on female pop songs and their perfect looks. After a disastrous failing at last year's finals, they are forced to regroup. Among the new recruits is freshman Beca, an independent, aspiring DJ with no interest in the college life. But after she meets Jesse, from the rival all-male a cappella group, Beca has a new outlook and takes it upon herself to help the Bellas find their new look and sound and get back into the competition. My Comments: Knowing me who is a sucker for musical romcoms, I absolutely love and enjoy this movie! If you're a musical lover, you'll love this so much more. It's been awhile since I had a good time laughing watching musical films. This particular one is super hilarious and the lines are those which people would remember it in their heads and burst into laughter. To me this isn't a typical musical film because they don't pop out into singing at random times, only during competitions and practice, and that's cool! I totally love the songs' arrangement and since it's acapella, I couldn't help but to just drop my jaws because really, they're THAT GOOD! If you don't know what to watch this weekend, I really recommend to watch Pitch Perfect even if you're not a fan of musical because you WILL laugh, and you WILL sing. Get ready to tap your feet, clap your hands, and hold yourself from dancing in the cinema!
